I bought this ramp for my 12 year old cat who is having trouble jumping on our bed. I just wanted something that had a nice, non-slip ramp that was sturdy, but easy for me to move. This ramp is exactly what I was looking for. My cat got used to going up and down the ramp, pretty quickly. The ramp locks into place with two metal hinge snaps and easily folds for storing. My cat also uses the ramp as a scratching board, which I don't mind, but his aggressive scratching does move the ramp away from the bed. Our bed is higher than most so, the ramp falls a bit shorter than the top of our mattress, but the little space is not a problem for my cat. I would definitely recommend this ramp.
